The Alma Coffee Program in Guatemala sources beans from regions such as Huehuetenango, Jalapa, and San Marcos
At Cedar Bean’s Coffee Joint, we’ve always believed that coffee is more than just a drink—it’s a connection. We also know that we can't make a meaningful impact alone. So when we and our roaster heard about Chris Poh’s work with Onyx Coffee Lab’s Alma Coffee Program, we knew this was a partnership that aligned with our mission.
The Alma Coffee Program is doing incredible work in Guatemala, not only sourcing top-tier coffee but also giving back to the farmers and communities that make it all possible. By partnering with them, we’re ensuring that the farmers we source from receive fair support, sustainable opportunities, and resources that improve their livelihoods.

Every sip of Guatemalan coffee at Cedar Bean’s now carries a deeper purpose—supporting the people behind the beans. Great coffee starts at the source, and we’re proud to be part of something that truly makes a difference.
